Why Choose our yacht Stardust ?

• We operate most of our Langkawi yacht charters from the Kilim River Geopark in Langkawi. Langkawi mangrove tours to the Kilim River cost in the region of RM 150. We spend an hour in the river on a mangrove tour doing our unique "best of the mangroves safari."
• Once you leave the Kilim River you are unlikely to see a single other tourist all day as we cruise round the "Eastern islands". Other tours that tour the overcrowded "Southern islands" see more tourist traffic from both bulk yacht operators and island hopping speedboats churning up the water with their high revving engines. We have 2 types of shared cruise - day and sunset. Our Eco Adventure Day Cruise offers the best opportunity to see wildlife and nature, its best for kids because the concept is activity based island hopping and as it finishes at 5pm you won't see the Langkawi sunset. Our sunset cruise tour starts at 5.30 pm and finishes at 8.30pm so you get to see the famous Langkawi sunset (provided its not too cloudy). We come back after dark and there are no hotels nearby, so you will see the night sky without light clutter,  provided its not cloudy. We also offer the shared double cruise - a day of sailing Langkawi's islands and beaches followed by a stunning Langkawi sunset and as we don't need to transfer you twice the double is cheaper than the combining the costs of both tours. We keep the numbers low and we generally find that people who love the sea, sand and scenery and like a little action on their holiday gravitate to us, so you can expect to meet like minded people on board. Captain Dean is superb at making people feel relaxed and after only a short while you will find that everybody is chatting and having fun together. There is a free flow of beverages, but we find that while a quite a few people may totter off with slightly rosy cheeks, we find that its extremely rare that guests abuse the open bar concept.

If you have the budget you can opt for a private charter. You can decide exactly what you want to do, although most end up doing the standard tour packages because they are fun and well balanced. There is no such thing as a private Langkawi beach, but its pretty rare to get interrupted on our sand spit. You can also include our trademark Langkawi mangrove tour. The Kilim River is one of Langkawi's best attractions and popular things to do with its towering cliffs and wheeling eagles. We have taken the best of the mangroves and added it into our yacht cruise at no additional cost to the customer. We also have the pirate's lagoon conveniently positioned along our route. Technically this is a collapsed cave accessible through a narrow opening. Its just the right size for our dinghy, or kayak but the island hopping boats of the mangrove river don't come here because they can't fit through the gap - so again privacy is usually assured.
